Working Times
You use the Working times data grid to define the periods of time in which your resources and processes are working.
To define different working times for specific date ranges, you can use multiple rows in the data grid.
Columns in the Working Times Data Grid
| Column |
Description |
| Start date |
The start date for the working time.
The default value is the start date of the schedule.
You can use the Calendar button to select the start date from a calendar.
Note: Using the calendar ensures that the date is entered in the correct format.
For example, the start date is important is when you specify a calendar for a crew which alternates between day shift and night shift on a weekly basis. If day shift starts at the start scheduling date, then night shift starts one week later. If a start date was not entered for night shift, the crew would be working day shift and night shift in the same week.

| Time from |
The time of day that work begins.
The time must be in HH:MM:SS format.
|
| Time to |
The time of day that work stops.
The time must be in HH:MM:SS format.
Note: If a shift passes 0:00:00, you do not have to break the shift into two shifts. For example, a shift from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am can be entered as from 20:00:00 to 4:00:00. You do not have to record the shift as one shift from 20:00:00 to 00:00:00 and a second shift from 00:00:00 to 04:00:00. GEOVIA MineSched allows the working time definition to extend into the following day.

How often the working time occurs.
The frequency is expressed as how many instances occur in each period, where the unit of time for the period is defined by the Repeat each value.
For example, if the Frequency is 1 in 1, the working time is repeated every day, week, month, or year. If the Frequency is 3 in 2, the working time is repeated three times in every two days, two weeks, two months, or two years.
You can use any combination of characters and spaces to separate the two numbers for the frequency.
